Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu - New Lynn
Jyoshinmon Shorin-Ryu has been active in New Zealand since 1971 and since that time it has expanded with three Dojos throughout Auckland. We offer both traditional and sport karate training for all ages from 5 years old to mature students (so it’s never too late!).
Our club has produced winning competitors in national tournaments and international championships where they have represented New Zealand.
Shihan David Bennett started with Jyoshinmon in 1971 and gained his Shodan in 1981. Subsequent grades with Nidan in 1984, Sandan in 1986 and Yondan in 2000.
