Welcome to the Kapiti Karate Academy

Where you can have fun while getting in shape and learning age old traditional Martial Arts that have been adapted for modern day application.

The Academy was founded in 2014 by Allan Youl (1st Dan) and is affiliated to the AJKA-International, under the guidance of Sensei Edmond Otis, 8th Dan, the highest ranked Shotokan Karate Instructor in New Zealand.

Class times:-

Tuesday 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm = Adults Karate (8.00 to 8.30 pm Advanced)

Thursday 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm = Adult and kids Karate (7.30 to 8.00 pm Advanced)

Friday 6.15 pm to 7.15 pm = Kids beginners

Friday 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm = Kids advanced

Fees - From $30 per month for Kids and $35 for Adults

First 2 classes FREE - come and try it out.

Tuesday 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm = Adults Karate (8.00 to 8.30 pm Advanced)
Thursday 6.30 pm to 7.30 pm = Adult and kids Karate (7.30 to 8.00 pm Advanced)
Friday 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm = Kids beginners (ages from 5 to 13)
Friday 7.00 pm to 8.00 pm = Kids advanced (ages from 5 to 13)
