Led by Sensei Shahab, an internationally recognised instructor. Shahab is a 7th Dan Black Belt with over 35 years experience.

The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Shotokan Karate Institute of New Zealand:
Karate lessons every Monday and Wednesday - Auckland Normal Intermediate School hall
Children's class (up to 16 years):
6:10 - 7:10 pm
Adult's class:
7:15 - 8:30 pm
Karate lessons every Saturday - Our Lady of the Sacred Heart church hall, Epsom
Children's and adult's class:
10.30 - 11.30 am
Beginners to black belts welcome.
No joining fees. First two lessons are free for children, turn up and join in.
