The meaning of Yōshinkan is ‘to nurture spirit, soul and mind’.
The club exists to develop ‘kendoka’ who are committed to making themselves better people by practicing in an environment that reinforces the dignity, courtesy, efficiency and ‘reigi’ (etiquette) of Kendo.
We practice on Monday & Wednesday nights and welcome new members!
The following Martial Arts Styles are offered at Yōshinkan Kendo Club:
Monday 6:30 pm - 8 pm - St Marks School Hall, Mt Cook, Wellington
Wednesday 6:30 - 8:30 pm - Mt Cook School Hall, Mt Cook, Wellington.
