The combat system taught comprises nine separate ryūha, or schools, which are collectively referred to as Bujinkan Budō Taijutsu. The nine schools comprise both Samurai and Ninjutsu ryūha.

Classes are held every Tuesday and Thursday at Central Normal School, Palmerston North, New Zealand:
Children's Classes (5 - 14 years) commence at 1800 hours
Adult Classes (15 years and up) commence at 1900 hours
Adult classes run for approximately two hours.
When training, students wear loose clean clothing or a black Gi with a t-shirt. Tabi are worn or students can train barefooted if preferred.
