Seido Karate is a traditional Japanese style of karate that has two goals: to maximize each student’s physical skills, and to cultivate individuals of the highest moral character who can make significant contributions to their family life, the workplace, and to society. Seido Karate provides a safe and friendly environment that is inclusive of men, women, adult of all ages, and children (aged 6 and above).
The chief instructor of the Tauranga Branch, Senpai Rick Harding, is a 3rd Dan black belt with more than 20 yrs of karate experience. Training is at Tauranga Primary School, 5th Ave. Training is Monday and Thursday 6-7pm (beginners), 7-8pm (brown belts and above). Friday 6-7pm (fitness and conditioning).
